- Shut off the main water. Turn the main valve where the water line enters the house, or the valve in the meter box by the street.
- Turn off the water heater. Gas: set the control to off. Electric: switch off its breaker.
- Call us. We'll talk you through it and get there as fast as we can.
Smell gas? Don't use switches or flames. Leave the house, then call 911 or your gas company from outside. Call us after for the repair.

Our story
Honest plumbing,
built for the long haul
Ameratex Plumbing LLC was founded in November 2025 with a simple goal: bring honest, experienced plumbing back to the customer.
Romauldo Moreno started plumbing at 20 and learned from old-school plumbers who taught him to diagnose the problem, figure out what can realistically be repaired, and give the customer options. Not every plumbing problem needs to turn into a complete replacement.
Too many large plumbing companies are focused on growth and sales. Ameratex is independent, so there's time to do the job right without rushing from one house to the next, at a reasonable price.
